Yesterday was a wonderful day. Baby Gurr and I went to her boyfriend’s birthday party. His name is Brennen. Here are some photos from the fun.
Brennen turned two!
Here is the birthday video of Baby Gurr singing “Happy Birthday” a couple days before the party.
I learned a new way to eat cake too.
After Baby Gurr got home, she crashed. She was so tired, she asked to go night night. I decided to catch up on some TV shows from the last few weeks.
I quite enjoy musicals. Memphis, Chicago, CATS, Lion King and the sort. I enjoy the shit out of Smash, the new show about creating a Broadway show(s). Many of the songs have been great and Karen and Ivy can sing really really good.
The plot of the show has gotten somewhat predictable though. Many of the characters are not progressing and there is one overriding theme that happens damn near every show.
If you do not watch this gem of a show about the making of a show, you are missing out. The Broadway show that is being portrayed in the TV show, would a much better show than the real show. But we have to go through all this background information shit about the real characters.
In case you are illiterate and can not follow what I just wrote, lemme simple it up for ya.
They need to make the show less about the show and more about the secondary show, so if the Broadway show was the real show and the real show either did not exist, or was a small part about the broadway show, then this TV show would be so much more awesome.
Go watch the show though. Make your own decision.
Also, Debra Messing is in it. She was annoyingly cool in Will and Grace. Now she is pretty much a whiney whore in Smash. Much better role for her.
This was probably a waste of time if you read to this point. It was a waste of time for me to write past Baby Gurr’s video. But I wanted to share a bunch of random nothingness with you heathens.
No SHave Never.
